Pasta Arrabbiata

Serves 3 person

Ingredient Quantity
Alce Nero organic pasta 250g
Alce Nero organic tomato sauce with chilli 350g
Alce Nero organic extra virgin olive oil 1 tbsp
Lean bacon, diced (optional) 100g
Fresh brown mushrooms, chopped 125g
Garlic, crushed 1 clove
Salt, to taste  
Grated parmesan cheese, to taste

Pasta arrabbiata

 

  1. Heat the oil in a medium saucepan, add the bacon and stir-fry over medium heat until slightly crispy. Remove from the pan and set aside.
  2. Add the chopped mushroom to the pan and cook in the same way. Remove and set aside. Add the garlic to the pan and cook, stirring, until golden.
  3. Add the tomato sauce and salt, cook over low heat for 10 minutes, then add the mushrooms and bacon. Meanwhile, cook the pasta, drain and set aside.
  4. Pour the sauce over the pasta and toss. Serve with parmesan cheese sprinkled on top.
