Overnight Mixed Berries Oats
Serves 2 person
Ingredient | Quantity |
Rolled oats | 1/2 cup |
Milk (or any liquid of your choice) | 1/2 cup milk |
Plain yoghurt | 2 tbsp |
Alce Nero Mixed Berries Jam | 1.5 tbsp |
Banana, sliced | 1/2 |
Pumpkin seeds | 1 tbsp |
Walnut, broken | 1 tbsp |
Desiccated coconuts, optional | 1 tbsp |
Ground cinnamon | 1 pinch |
Here's the ingredients you are using:
- In your favourite breakfast bowl, stir together half the oats with half the liquid of your choice. Top with a layer of banana, followed by a layer of jam and a sprinkling of desiccated coconut and cinnamon.
- Repeat again and finish off with a layer of yoghurt. Sprinkle pumpkin seeds, walnuts and dash of cinnamon.
- Cover with cling film and keep in the fridge, ready for a yummy breakfast the next day!
- Feel free to experiment with different Alce Nero jam flavours and different fruits that go well with it! Here are some other combinations: Peach jam and lemon zest, strawberry jam and goji berries, plum jam and figs, apricot jam and raisins.
