Serves 2 person
|Alce Nero organic honey||2 tbsp|
|Alce Nero extra virgin olive oil||2 tbsp|
|Big onion, halved and sliced||1|
|Garlic, crushed||3 cloves|
|Chicken stock or water||1/2 liter|
|Beef stock or water||1/2 liter|
|Ginger powder||1 tsp|
|Salt & pepper to taste|
Here's the ingredients you are using:
- Heat the olive oil in a frying pan to sear the lamb over high heat. When browned on both sides, add the sliced onion and crushed garlic cloves. Lower heat and sweat the onion and garlic for about 10 minutes.
- Add the rest of the ingredients, seasoning to taste with salt and pepper. Cover the pan with lid and simmer for about 2 hours. Remove the lamb shanks and add the potatoes. Simmer for 10 minutes or until potatoes are cooked.
