Ingredients (serves 2):
½ Cup Rolled Oats
½ Cup Milk (or any other liquid of your choice)
2 Tbsp Plain Yoghurt
1.5 Tbsp Alce Nero Mixed Berries Jam
½ Banana, sliced
1 Tbsp Pumpkin Seeds
1 Tbsp Broken Walnuts
1 Tbsp Desiccated Coconut (optional)
Dash of Ground Cinnamon
In your favourite breakfast bowl, stir together half the oats with half the liquid of your choice. Top with a layer of banana, followed by a layer of jam and a sprinkling of desiccated coconut and cinnamon.
Repeat again and finish off with a layer of yoghurt. Sprinkle pumpkin seeds, walnuts and a dash of cinnamon.
Cover with cling film and keep in the fridge, ready for a yummy breakfast the next day!
Feel free to experiment with different Alce Nero jam flavours and different fruits that go well with it! Here are some other combinations: Peach jam and lemon zest, strawberry jam and goji berries, plum jam and figs, apricot jam and raisins.
